Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst to support both syndicated and custom research projects for leading North American CPG manufacturers and retailers. This role also provides exposure to restaurant, technology, durables, and global research initiatives.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about data. They should be capable of independently managing projects, transforming complex data into actionable insights, and delivering high-quality client-facing reports.

Fluency in English is required, as the role involves regular communication with North American clients and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership

  • Take full ownership of research studies from project assignment through final delivery and follow-up.
  • Manage project timelines independently and ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate project kick-off meetings and milestone reviews with internal teams and clients.
  • Drive project progress proactively, identifying and resolving issues before escalation.
  • Attend client meetings, document key takeaways, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Research & Analysis

  • Analyze quantitative research data and identify meaningful business insights.
  • Ensure study designs and client objectives are accurately reflected in final deliverables.
  • Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations aligned with client goals.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of research methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • Support both syndicated and ad hoc/custom research projects.

Reporting & Storytelling

  • Develop high-quality reports and presentations with clear, concise, and compelling insights.
  • Build logical storylines that connect data, findings, and business recommendations.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, well-written, and free of errors.
  • Present findings confidently to internal stakeholders and clients when required.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Respond to client questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project updates clearly and proactively.

Continuous Improvement

  • Learn and apply internal tools, processes, methodologies, and modeling techniques.
  • Incorporate feedback into future projects and continuously improve performance.
  • Demonstrate increasing independence and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, Analytics, Customer Insights, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Preferred

  • Experience working with CPG/FMCG, Retail, Restaurant, or Tech & Durables clients.
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methodologies.
  • Advanced Power BI skills.
  • Familiarity with Azure.
  • Experience presenting insights to clients.
