Essential Functions (The fundamental Competencies/Skills & Responsibilities of the role (products and services provided/results accomplished) include, but are not limited to, those listed: <ul> <li>Perform and document bioanalytical procedures, materials, and results in compliance with protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Execute routine sample analysis and method validation studies independently using UPLC-MS/MS platforms.</li> <li>Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment with minimal oversight.</li> <li>Analyze data, prepare study documentation, and independently write study and non-study deviations.</li> <li>Support laboratory operations through inventory management, solution preparation, labeling, and equipment maintenance.</li> <li>Assist with laboratory investigations, assay troubleshooting, and quality observations.</li> <li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives and apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with team members, project leads, and supervisors through clear communication.</li> <li>Provide support for sample analysis and validation projects as needed.</li> <li>Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.</li> <li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory and business objectives.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Requirements</H2> </div><div>Qualifications <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical laboratory environment.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.</li> <li>Ability to learn and work within validated laboratory and data management systems.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and time constraints.</li> <li>Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or additional shifts as business needs require.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and compliance standards.</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa, now or in the future.</li> </ul> The pay rate for this position is $27.50/hour.</div></div></div>About Safety Assessment Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
