Position Description
As an Analyst, Line & Price, you will help develop the NielsenIQ Innovation Practice business by executing marketing research studies for our clients. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing client presentations with a high degree of independence. You will generate highly polished analyses, summarizing conclusions and recommendations in a precise, client-friendly manner. You will support the Line & Price team in driving revenue by delivering excellent project work that will result in repeated business with our clients.
While we seek candidates with proven analytical skills, we provide extensive training to give our Analysts the subject matter expertise to function effectively in our business. This includes training regarding choice-based research methods, designing and analyzing market research, and delivering high impact consultative presentations to our clients.
Responsibilities
Project Execution & Management (85%)
Ownership of internal project execution (Finalization of inputs through deliverables)
Support CS teams in executing project tasks including data handling, charting, and report creation
Ensure proper documentation, organization, and quality checks of outputs
Knows L&P study processes and initiates steps without prompting
Independently and correctly utilizes BASES L&P Tools
Ensures internal and external deadlines are met
Collaborates effectively with Ops team members, Statisticians, Fielding team etc.
Identifies questions/issues and proactively seeks solutions
Effectively uses resources
Additional Responsibilities (15%)
Client Management
Attend client and internal team meetings, providing appropriate support materials
Develops understanding of connection between scoping, study designs, and client needs
Methodological Expertise
Develops foundational understanding of the L&P services, methodology, and underlining theories
Develops understanding of Core BASES services
Develops familiarity with NIQ assets
Team Collaboration
Is a good team player
Effectively leverages support functions
Adopts and efficiently executes the processes in place
Qualifications
Analytical proficiency

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Post-Graduate with a specialization in Marketing (Preferably with up to 1 year of market research experience)
