What’s the role?
The Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team plays a vital role in protecting the bank and its customers from financial crime. As a Risk Analyst, you’ll investigate unusual or high-risk customer activity, identify potential risks, and make informed recommendations that support compliance with regulatory obligations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, analysing complex information, and building a career in financial crime risk and investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate high-risk customers and potential financial crime activity.
- Analyse customer information, transaction activity and risk indicators using enhanced due diligence techniques.
- Prepare clear investigation reports and provide risk-based recommendations.
- Identify financial crime red flags, emerging risks and suspicious activity patterns.
- Collaborate with Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations and Business stakeholders to support customer risk decisions and continuous process improvement.
What do I need?
We're looking for a curious and adaptable investigator who can assess risk, build strong relationships and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
- Experience in financial crime, AML/CTF, fraud, investigations or risk.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
