This role reports to the Sr Manager, Risk and Corporate Insurance.</p> <p>This role will help oversee insurance program management including administrative tasks associated with surety bonds, insurance applications and other needs related to the company’s various policies.</p> <p>Given the growth of the company over the last 10 years, this individual should be able to identify areas to simplify, automate and advance all aspects of the insurance department; establishing best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the Corporate Insurance function.</p> <p>This position coordinates with the Claims/Legal Department on large losses to ensure timely notification to insurance carriers and the proper communication of case reserves to the TPA, Actuary and Accounting. </p> <p>Coordinates the insurance programs with the business units. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Evaluate and analyze insurance proposals to ensure alignment with organizational risk appetite and business objectives</li> <li>Administrative support for insurance policies including applications and surety bonds </li> <li>Monitor and analyze reporting frameworks to evaluate insurance program effectiveness  </li> <li>Create executive-level presentations on insurance program performance and recommendations</li> <li>Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to identify emerging risks and appropriate mitigation strategies</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in corporate insurance</li> </ul> <p>              </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in risk management or finance</li> <li>Practical knowledge of risk management and insurance process, claims management, basic</li> <li>accounting practices, finance and insurance industry and policy forms.
