Responsibilities The Opportunity We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Route Optimization Analyst to join our Route Intelligence Center (RIC). This role is key to supporting accelerated business growth and improving cost-to-serve efficiency through the development and execution of intelligent route engineering solutions. As part of the RIC team, you will work closely with Field Strategy Managers, Route Design Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze routing requests, optimize territory and delivery structures, and support operational performance through data-driven decision-making and advanced routing technology. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy problem-solving, operational analytics, process improvement, and working with technology to create impactful business solutions. Your Impact As a Route Optimization Analyst, you will: Develop and execute route engineering solutions using Territory Planner and other routing and analytics tools. Support route optimization initiatives focused on improving productivity, service execution, and operational efficiency. Apply the PFNA Gold Standard Route Engineering Process to ensure consistency and high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with Route Design Managers (RDMs), Field Strategy Managers, and operations teams to understand business needs and deliver effective routing solutions. Analyze field performance data and recommend route adjustments and improvements based on operational feedback and KPIs. Generate reports, dashboards, and analysis to monitor solution performance, SLA compliance, and project effectiveness. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within the Route Intelligence Center by identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhanced execution. Ensure timely and accurate completion of routing requests and project deliverables. Support implementation and fine-tuning of route engineering solutions to maximize field performance and customer service levels. Partner with team members and stakeholders to provide technical and analytical support for routing-related initiatives. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field. Experience & Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and business metrics. Advanced proficiency in: MS Excel PowerPoint Territory Planner or similar routing software Database and reporting tools SharePoint and MS Access Fluent professional English (written and verbal). Ability to understand complex business drivers and translate insights into operational improvements. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence and efficiency. Experience in logistics, routing, sales operations, supply chain, or territory planning is a plus.
