About the role:
The Royalty Analyst is responsible for analysing royalty data, preparing revenue projections, identifying performance trends, and delivering meaningful insights that support business decision-making. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to provide accurate royalty reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse royalty data from digital platforms and royalty statements.
- Prepare income summary projections based on historical royalty performance.
- Perform royalty estimations using historical data and established methodologies.
- Develop analytical reports that provide clear conclusions, key insights, and actionable recommendation.
- Identify royalty performance trends across artists, platforms, territories, and reporting periods.
- Compare royalty performance across reporting periods to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with royalty forecasting using historical performance and available data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support royalty reporting and financial analysis.
Requirements:

Technical Requirements:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and analysing financial or operational data.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries.
- Ability to quickly learn internal reporting systems and analytical tools.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with relevant experience in financial analysis, data analysis, royalty reporting, or similar analytical roles are encouraged to apply.
