Leading a specific focus or support area, this role drives the safety strategy by governing compliance with core safety standards and Mexican regulations (NOMs). This position requires a resilient leader capable of influencing both shop-floor operators and site managers, fostering a proactive safety culture, and leveraging digital tools to automate and standardize EHS programs across a large-scale manufacturing plant.<br><br><br></p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Safety Strategy &amp; Governance:</strong> Lead and standardize the implementation of corporate safety standards and applicable Mexican NOMs within the assigned manufacturing or logistics focus area.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Audit &amp; Compliance Management:</strong> Coordinate and manage environmental, health, and safety audits, ensuring facilities, buildings, and equipment strictly meet corporate guidelines and national legal requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Incident Investigation &amp; Prevention:</strong> Analyze root causes of workplace accidents or near-misses, implementing robust corrective actions and maintaining emergency response infrastructure, including fire protection networks.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Leadership &amp; Training:</strong> Deliver and coordinate EHS training programs for all personnel in the area; partner with area managers and operational leaders to influence behavior and drive standard alignment.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Continuous Improvement &amp; FP&amp;R:</strong> Apply Factory Performance and Reliability (FP&amp;R) standards to safety metrics, generating monthly performance reports and driving safety awareness campaigns.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Digital Transformation:</strong> Identify opportunities to integrate digital tools, Google Workspace apps, or AI solutions to automate tracking, streamline EHS programs, and eliminate operational gaps.<br><br><br></p> </li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environments, either in specialized EHS roles or core operations (e.g., Quality Leader, Production Supervisor) with strong exposure to safety cultures.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Regulatory Knowledge:</strong> Solid understanding of Mexican Safety and Health Regulations (NOMs) and audit management.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Languages:</strong> Intermediate English proficiency (required for division-level and global reporting).<br><br></p> </li> </ul> <h2>Desired Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Digital Innovation:</strong> Proven interest or experience in leveraging <strong>digital tools, automation, or AI</strong> to optimize administrative or operational processes.</p> </li> <li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> High-impact communication and leadership skills; ability to influence, persuade, and align cross-functional teams from operators to executive managers.</li> <li> <p><strong>Legal Expertise:</strong> Deep understanding of industrial hygiene legal frameworks and the strategic selection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p> </li> </ul><style type="text/css"> </style> <p><br><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Our Commitment to Inclusion</strong><br>Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives  to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
