Sales Analyst

We're looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic Sales Analyst to help transform data into actionable insights that drive the growth of both the Joseph's and Tumaro's brands. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support smarter business decisions.
As a key member of our Sales & Marketing team, you'll analyze sales performance, market trends, customer behavior, and syndicated data to uncover opportunities that improve sales growth, strengthen market position, and support strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market data to identify opportunities for growth
- Create, maintain, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and dashboards
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to the Sales & Marketing team
- Evaluate customer, product, and channel performance using internal and syndicated data sources
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
- Develop data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance and market share
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Support forecasting, sales planning, and business strategy through data analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to improve reporting and business processes
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance analytical capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- 2โ4+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a related role, preferably within the food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or retail industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen, Circana (IRI), or SPINS preferred
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, customer behavior, and market trends
- Experience analyzing e-commerce or retail sales data is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive and collaborative approach
