Sales Analytics Specialist
Mobile Communications America, Inc., a leader in wireless communications, data, and security solutions is seeking a Sales Analytics Specialist to lead data analysis and reporting across the Sales Strategy & Operations organization. This role is focused on turning the organization's sales data into clear, decision-ready analysis and reporting for sales leadership — analyzing performance, building tear sheets and dashboards, and structuring the tools that support forecasting and territory planning. The Specialist also applies low-code automation and AI tools (such as Power Automate and Copilot Studio) to streamline recurring reporting and reduce manual effort. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on data analyst who is comfortable working across systems and data, communicates findings clearly, and is eager to use automation to work more efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform hands-on analysis of sales performance across the organization — pipeline, bookings, conversion, and productivity — to answer recurring and ad hoc questions from sales leadership.
- Turn analysis into clear, decision-ready insights and recommendations for a non-technical audience, not just raw reports.
- Build and maintain reporting artifacts, including tear sheets, executive summaries, and dashboards, that give stakeholders a clear, current view of the business.
- Source, validate, and reconcile data across CRM (HubSpot, NetSuite) and ERP (NetSuite, Ormandy) systems to ensure analysis rests on accurate, trusted data.
- Investigate data quality issues and anomalies and recommend improvements to data capture and reporting.
Planning & Forecasting Support
- Structure and maintain the templates and sheets that support the sales forecasting process.
- Support sales territory planning through data preparation, mapping, and scenario setup.
- Partner with Division Leads and leadership to ensure planning and forecasting tools are accurate, usable, and up to date.
Automation & Efficiency
- Apply low-code automation (Microsoft Power Automate) to streamline recurring reporting and data preparation, reducing manual effort.
- Build and support basic AI agents or assistants using low-code tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio where they improve efficiency.
- Identify manual, repetitive analytical tasks and convert them into reliable, repeatable processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work across the Sales Strategy & Operations organization to understand data and tooling needs and deliver practical solutions.
- Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, and divisional stakeholders to align definitions, data sources, and reporting standards.
- Document tools, workflows, and processes so solutions are maintainable and transferable across the team.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or sales operations roles.
- Some hands-on experience with automation or low-code tools in a business setting a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and building structured, reusable sheets.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing business or sales data and translating it into clear insights for a non-technical audience.
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau.
- Familiarity with CRM (HubSpot, NetSuite) and ERP (NetSuite, Ormandy) data structures.
- Comfort working across multiple systems and data sources, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Hands-on experience using low-code automation tools (Microsoft Power Automate) to streamline recurring work; familiarity with the broader Power Platform (Power Apps, Copilot Studio) a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize across competing requests, and manage multiple deliverables.
- Experience in technology, telecom, or services/reseller environments preferred.
