Job DescriptionUnder moderate supervision, responsible for supporting the sales process by assisting in managing quote and purchase order processes, accounts receivable, and supporting project management initiatives designed to improve overall sales performance. The Sales Operations Analyst II may include responsibilities within the internal-facing team (POs, quotes, CRM, ERP), external-facing Capital delivery management, or spare parts and marketing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing initiatives that streamline the sales cycle and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Assist in minor enhancements to CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g., SAP) systems to support sales processes.
- Collaborate with finance and account management teams to help facilitate timely invoicing and payment processing while addressing basic billing inquiries.
- Help utilize data analytics tools to create basic reports that provide insights into sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Participate in various projects related to quoting, purchase orders, accounts receivable, and contracts, ensuring smooth operations and communication with key stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams in processing and tracking purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of accurate quotes to customers, ensuring timely responses and alignment with pricing and contractual terms.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to learn and adapt processes that drive efficiency and support business objectives.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general CRM software.
- Understanding of sales operations best practices and financial management principles.
- Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of data reporting and visualization.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP software (e.g., SAP) preferred
