SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Experience: 7-8 Years Role: SAP SAC Consultant Primary Skill: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) - Reporting, Dashboarding & Planning Job Profile We are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with 7–8 years of SAP Analytics/BI experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and implementing SAC solutions. The candidate should independently manage requirements through design, development, testing, and production deployment, with experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, HANA, and SAP/non-SAP data sources. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop SAP SAC Stories, dashboards, reports and analytical applications. • Build executive and operational dashboards with KPIs, drilldowns, filters, calculations, hierarchies and interactive visualizations. • Develop and maintain SAC data models, including dimensions, measures, calculated measures, currency conversions and hierarchies. • Configure and manage Live and Import connections with SAP and non-SAP systems. • Integrate SAC with SAP S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA and other enterprise data sources. • Develop SAC Planning models covering budgeting, forecasting and business planning requirements. • Configure Data Actions, Multi-Actions, Advanced Formulas, Allocations, Version Management and Forecasting. • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical SAC solutions. • Conduct workshops and support solution design, prototyping and requirement validation. • Develop dashboards and analytics for business functions such as Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain and HR. • Perform data validation and reconciliation between SAC reports and source systems. • Optimize SAC models, stories and dashboards for performance and scalability. • Configure roles, teams, user access and data-level security within SAC. • Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT support, defect resolution and production deployment. • Troubleshoot SAC data, connectivity, authorization and performance issues. • Prepare functional/technical documentation, configuration documents, test scripts and user guides. • Conduct knowledge-transfer and end-user training sessions. • Provide post-go-live and production support for SAC applications. Mandatory Skills • 7-8 years of overall experience in SAP BI/Analytics solutions. • Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud experience. • Strong expertise in: o SAC Stories & Dashboards o SAC Data Modelling o SAC Planning o Data Actions & Multi-Actions o Advanced Formulas o Allocations & Forecasting o Calculated Measures & Dimensions o Live & Import Connections o SAC Security / Roles / Data Access Control o Performance Optimization • Strong integration experience with SAP S/4 HANA and/or BW/4 HANA. • Good understanding of SAP HANA data models and CDS Views. • Experience consuming and validating data from SAP functional areas, particularly FI/CO, SD, MM and Procurement. • Strong knowledge of BI concepts, KPI design, data visualization and reporting best practices. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills. • At least 2 end-to-end SAP Analytics/SAC implementation or rollout projects. • At least 1 end-to-end SAC implementation involving dashboard/report development and integration with SAP backend systems. • Hands-on experience working directly with business stakeholders during requirements, UAT and golive. Experience in production support and performance troubleshooting. Preferred Skills • Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP BTP. • Experience with S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics (2025 version) and CDS Views. • Knowledge of SAP BW/4 HANA modelling and queries. • Experience with SAC predictive capabilities and Smart Insights. • Understanding of REST/OData/API-based integrations. • SAP SAC / Analytics / Datasphere certification is preferred. • Experience delivering analytics solutions in large enterprise environments. Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or related discipline.
