As a Security Analyst at Acquire Intelligence Philippines Inc., you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. You will play a critical role in identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and implementing security measures to safeguard our digital assets.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
* Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems, applications, and networks.
* Analyze security logs and event data to detect and investigate security breaches and suspicious activity.
* Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
* Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Administer and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into system design, development, and deployment.
* Educate employees on security awareness and best practices.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
* Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security posture.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* Proven experience (2+ years) as a Security Analyst, Information Security Analyst, or similar role.
* Solid understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption).
* Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
* Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network infrastructures.
* Understanding of common attack vectors and threat intelligence.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, GSEC) are a plus.
