Senior Analyst
Job Description
Role - To act as a key member to the Production support and Model Development- Strong knowledge of data handling, actuarial valuation techniques, and modelling concepts, with hands-on experience in Prophet.- Good understanding of Life Insurance products, including annuities and guaranteed products, across various lines of business.- Build, update, and maintain actuarial models, including product setup, assumptions, and run configurations.- Work on Prophet model development and enhancements, including incorporation of new product features and regulatory changes.- Execute model runs, analyze outputs, and investigate movements or variances in results.- Perform model validation and testing (UAT/parallel runs), identifying gaps and implementing solutions.- Assist in automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce run times.
Qualifications
Graduation/Masters in any stream Min 1-3 yearsβ experience in the Life Insurance/ Variable Annuities domain (For Senior Analyst) with 3 Actuarial papers preferable- Proficient in MS Office Suite- Experience using actuarial software and policy systems (Prophet, MG alfa etc) -Desirable- Should possess the ability to think out of the box β contingency management- Able to develop data mapping and downstream testing in valuation models
