Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.
 

Commercial Banking Finance is responsible for the provision of key financial information and monthly performance reporting to the Commercial Banking distribution segment.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Analyst Finance Business Partner to join our Segment Distribution Finance team, supporting Business Banking. This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to help drive business performance and inform strategic decisions.
 

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, providing insights that shape outcomes, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth.
 

Key responsibilities

• Deliver month-end, half-year and year-end reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
• Analyse key business drivers including revenue, costs, FTE and balance sheet growth
• Provide commercial insights and performance reporting to senior leaders
• Partner with stakeholders to solve business problems and support decision-making
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and risk oversight
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting and analytical processes
• Develop and enhance reporting solutions using SQL, Tableau, Alteryx and BI tools
   

What you'll bring

• Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or performance reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience with SQL and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Exposure to Alteryx is advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Commercial mindset with a focus on business outcomes
• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)
