As part of GTMC, Insights & Analytics Capabilities delivers best-in-class and transformative insights and innovative tools and methods that actionably fuel Sanofi’s strategic business decisions, processes, and deliverables. In doing so, our Hubs are a crucial part of how we innovate, improving performance across every Sanofi department and providing a springboard for the amazing work we do. Build a career and you can be part of transforming our business while helping to change millions of lives. Ready?

Overall Purpose: At Sanofi, we leverage analytics and technology to benefit patients worldwide. We seek individuals passionate about using data, analytics, and insights to drive decision-making and tackle global health threats. Our mission is to transform decision-making across our end-to-end commercialization process, from business development to late lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Sr. Director of Business Dynamics, Data Management to serve as a data subject matter expert and hands-on analyst who will be focused on running analytics, conducting data investigations, and providing guidance on how to leverage complex patient-level commercial datasets including LAAD, APLD, Remit, Lifecycle, Triggers, lab data as well as patient derived datasets including Source of Business and Line of Therapy reporting. This person will help analytics teams understand the nuances of the data, how to approach analyses, and how to translate data into insights. This role is ideal for a highly collaborative, intellectually curious individual who is energized by working with complex data and translating it into actionable insights for the business.

The right candidate will come with a “continuous improvement” mindset on operational excellence by standardizing and automating data processes and maintaining high data quality standards.

  • People:

  • Maintain effective relationships with the end stakeholders within the allocated GBU and tasks – with an end objective to act as the data SME, develop training & communication content, and document processes as per requirement

  • Engage actively with source data partners in shaping quality standards, flagging issues, and ensuring documentation is maintained

  • Contribute analytical perspective to NA stakeholder conversations on data strategy, bringing deep knowledge of what the data can and cannot support — with the team lead holding overall strategic accountability

  • Performance:

  • Support data strategy for patient-level data assets, in partnership with the Sr. Director

  • Train teams on dataset structures and how to interpret and use complex patient claims data effectively

  • Play a guiding analytical role in designing analyses leveraging patient-level commercial datasets — including Line of Therapy, Source of Business, patient adherence/persistence, HCP segmentation, and competitive dynamics

  • Lead data investigations to troubleshoot anomalies, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure analysts and stakeholders understand data limitations and proper use cases

  • Contribute as a core team member in building the data quality framework, cataloguing, and profiling specific to patient-level data — with responsibility for documentation and analytical best practices that the broader team relies on

  • Actively review data quality reports, maintain requirements documents, business rules, and metadata for patient-level datasets; serve as the first point of contact for claims data inquiries and provide analytical support to the US CDM team

  • Collaborate with Data Operations and Digital as an active partner — contributing domain expertise on patient-level data to help enhance data access, tooling, and processes that improve quality and productivity across the team

·       Process:

-        Contribute to project delivery with a high bar for data quality, accuracy, and timeliness — flagging risks or data limitations early and helping the team navigate them

-        Proactively identify data issues or analytical limitations and communicate them clearly to stakeholders

-        Bring deep technical expertise to project delivery — serving as the analytical quality check and process improvement voice within the team, in support of the team lead’s overall direction.

-        Take an active role in developing technical guidelines and analytical best practices for patient claims data — and apply them consistently when reviewing team outputs.

-        Assist in team growth by providing technical assessments during hiring and supporting skill development of team members.

-        Contribute analytical expertise to ensure data practices align with regulatory standards and operational controls, in collaboration with compliance and data governance stakeholders.

-        Provide informed analytical input on project scoping and technical requirements — helping the team lead make sound capacity and prioritization decisions.

-        Execute improvement initiatives by implementing technical solutions that align with operational excellence goals.

·       Stakeholder:

-        Maintain relationships with immediate business partners to understand their specific data requirements and align team deliverables with departmental goals.

-        Communicate effectively by presenting data findings to stakeholders in clear, understandable formats that support informed decision-making.

-        Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (such as Brand Teams and Customer Facing teams) to ensure outputs meet project needs and deliver practical value.

-        Manage expectations by coordinating project timelines, setting realistic deliverable goals, and communicating resource needs to supervisors.

-        Maintain ongoing engagement through regular communication with key stakeholders, focusing on those directly involved in current projects and team objectives.
