The Live Events Production Coordinator (Vehicle Design Reviews) is responsible for organizing and managing all events held in the Design Center's event spaces. This role involves on-site coordination with multiple Ford Design and program teams, as well as collaborating with support staff to execute vehicle-related shows and events in a world-class facility. The coordinator must maintain a high level of detail and professionalism throughout all live events.

What you'll do...
- Liaison/collaborate with Design leadership, studio creative teams, fabrications shops and skilled trades support on the set up and running of all vehicle events.
- Have a thorough knowledge of live audio, video, and lighting standards, and deploy and operate several types of live event AV systems for various events.
- Strive to learn and pursue new skills in event software and hardware applications to keep events centers on the forefront of technology. ETC EOS Apex Lighting Board, Madrix Lighting Software, MicroLED Video Walls.
- Provide best in class customer service environments for all event spaces.
- Monitors physical spaces and identifies areas in need of corrective maintenance. Schedule maintenance, report broken items, and establish steps of preventive maintenance.
- Perform maintenance and system upgrades in coordination with vendor direction.
- Perform additional duties/tasks and assume additional responsibilities as needed for events occurring in Design spaces.
- Manage and maintain events request system and calendar.
- Ensure all properties for design events are available and in show-ready condition. Coordinate with studios, fabrication teams and others as required.
- Ensure all event room specifications are set up in a timely manner.
- Ensure all required clearance forms are obtained and enforce safety and security procedures for all events.
- Other duties as needed to support Global Design Business Operations.
You'll have...
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ Experience working with Live Event Production.
- 3+ Experience working in facilities management.
- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Other Information
Position may require very long hours and weekend work on some occasions.
Example: a showroom events ends late in the evening. A different event requiring a completely different set up begins first thing the following morning. The Facilities Coordinator is required to work with the skilled trades to clear out the 1st event and set up the 2nd event.

This position open to salary grade 6 and 7. Salary grade 6 ranges from $74,300-$124,500. Salary grade 7 ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
