</div><div><p>Work with the Accounting Research Manager on a variety of technical and complex items, including the implementation and evaluation of new financial accounting standards, the accounting treatment and disclosure for new or unusual business transactions and maintaining and developing accounting policies. Additionally, provide support to the financial reporting department to ensure compliance with all U.S. GAAP and SEC financial disclosure requirements while being a liaison to external auditors.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Functions</b></H2>
</div><div><p>• Research, plan, perform due diligence, and document accounting considerations for complex business transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, regulatory transactions, debt / equity financings and other topics.<br>• Monitor and evaluate the impact of new and emerging accounting standards and SEC rulings and lead teams to implement new standards. <br>• Work cross-functionally with business units to address questions and document accounting conclusions to maximize corporate results. <br>• Assist the financial reporting department with GAAP and SEC compliance, other technical matters and communicate accounting positions to external auditors. <br>• Maintain, interpret and update accounting policies. <br>• Perform and execute key activities within the monthly accounting close cycle, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting support. <br>• Manage and complete ad-hoc projects through detailed project management skills and strong communication with management and stakeholders. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Education Description</b></H2>
