Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Marine Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis reporting to the Manager of Marine Finance. This position works on-site in Miami, Florida. Position Summary: The Senior Analyst, FP&A is responsible for managing the operating expense budget and financial analysis for Marine Operations on a global scale. This role ensures accurate reporting, partners with operational teams to track expense performance, and provides actionable insights to optimize spending and achieve business objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Develops and manages Opex budgets and forecasts for global Marine Operations departments.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Analyzes actual financial performance against plans, identifying variances and corrective actions.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Prepares monthly reporting packages and communicates insights to senior leadership.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Collaborates with operations leaders to drive cost efficiency and resource optimization initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Monitors compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls on operating expenses.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Supports decision-making by providing scenario analysis and strategic recommendations.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Improves financial processes by recommending automation and reporting enhancements.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Partners cross-functionally across Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to align Opex strategies.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Performs other duties as required.</li> </ul> This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">4–6 years of progressive experience in Opex management and financial analysis.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Previous experience within maritime, transportation, or large-scale operational environments preferred.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling expertise.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems is highly preferred; familiarity with budgeting tools and reporting platforms a plus.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Knowledge of operating expense methodologies within global operations.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Ability to thrive in fast-paced, global environments with shifting priorities.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Proactive problem-solving and collaboration across multiple teams.</li> </ul> We know there's a lot to consider.
