As Senior Analyst, Investments & Acquisitions, you will play a highly visible role supporting AIR Communities and Blackstone deal teams in the underwriting, evaluation, acquisition, and disposition of multifamily assets across Blackstone investment vehicles.
This is an opportunity for a technically strong, detail-oriented investment professional to gain direct exposure to senior stakeholders, including Blackstone executives, while working on complex, high-value real estate transactions.
Since 2018, the platform has transacted more than $21 billion in multifamily assets, offering exceptional deal flow, mentorship from experienced real estate investors, and access to proprietary business intelligence, specialist teams, and industry-leading technology. This role reports to a Market Leader on the Investments Team.
What You Will Do:
Investment Underwriting & Financial Analysis
- Lead and support real estate investment underwriting, including detailed financial models, sensitivity analyses, valuation work, and investment returns analysis for acquisitions, dispositions, value-add, yield-oriented, and opportunistic strategies.
- Evaluate potential transactions by synthesizing asset-level performance, historical operating results, capital needs, rent growth assumptions, market fundamentals, and investment risk factors.
- Build, audit, and refine complex Excel-based models with a high degree of accuracy, technical rigor, and attention to detail.
Transaction Execution & Deal Support
- Support acquisition and disposition processes from initial screening through closing, including diligence, pricing analysis, buyer feedback tracking, valuation support, and recommendation materials.
- Review and analyze offering materials, broker packages, diligence information, third-party reports, market data, and internal operating assumptions.
- Manage multiple live deal workstreams with urgency, precision, and ownership in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Executive-Level Materials & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare polished Investment Committee materials, transaction summaries, executive presentations, and supporting analyses for senior AIR and Blackstone stakeholders.
- Translate complex financial analysis into clear, concise recommendations that support investment decision-making.
- Communicate professionally with internal leaders and external parties, including brokers, operators, appraisers, consultants, lenders, and third-party vendors.
Market Research, Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Analyze market fundamentals, capital markets trends, demographic data, competitive positioning, and submarket or micro-location dynamics.
- Partner closely with Blackstone investment professionals and AIR’s Transaction Management, Operations, Asset Management, Capital, and market leadership teams.
- Contribute to special projects related to investment strategy, portfolio growth, process improvement, business intelligence, and team infrastructure.

- Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, and ownership, with the ability to produce polished, executive-ready work product under tight timelines.
- Professional presence and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and maturity to interact with senior leaders, investment partners, and external counterparties.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct multifamily, residential, or broader commercial real estate transaction experience.
- Experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, Investment Committee materials, valuation analysis, diligence, or transaction execution.
