Job Description

Your role:

Are you passionate about corporate governance, investment stewardship, and shaping the future of responsible investing? We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Passive Stewardship to join Invesco's Global Governance & Advisory Team and play a key role in advancing stewardship across our passive investment strategies.

In this highly visible role, you will lead and support proxy voting activities, help shape stewardship strategy, and partner closely with investment, ETF, index, governance, and client-facing teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor on governance matters, contribute to the evolution of our voting framework, and help drive innovation in areas such as pass-through voting and stewardship transparency.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Help drive and evolve the stewardship strategy for Invesco's passive investment strategies.

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the Passive Stewardship team, setting clear priorities, expectations, and stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for senior leaders across the ETF and Index Strategies ecosystem on governance and proxy voting matters.

  • Oversee the analysis of proxy meeting materials and development of voting recommendations aligned with Invesco's Global Proxy Voting Policy.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of voting guidelines and governance approaches across the passive fund range.

  • Support the continued growth and implementation of Invesco's pass-through voting program.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality proxy voting data and insights to internal stakeholders and business partners.

  • Help shape the team's engagement approach with investee companies on key governance and stewardship topics.

  • Partner with client-facing teams to address stewardship and proxy-voting related inquiries and requests.

  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in investment stewardship, proxy voting, asset management, corporate governance, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in corporate governance, shareholder rights, proxy voting, and stewardship best practices.

  • Understanding of financial markets and an aptitude for data analysis.

  • Experience working with or alongside proxy voting operations teams is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with pass-through voting programs or related initiatives is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement when evaluating governance and stewardship issues.

  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

  • Curious, intellectually engaged, and eager to learn, particularly in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence and technology innovation.

  • Collaborative, low-ego team player who builds credibility and trusted relationships quickly.

  • Demonstrates leadership, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passionate about stewardship and committed to helping drive positive outcomes for clients and investors.

The salary range for this position in Downers Grove, IL is $150,000-175,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
