Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

The key responsibilities of the team are to act as a support function for the Fixed Income Private Credit Front Office including Syndicated Bank Loans, Alternative Credit, Real Estate Finance, Restructuring and all other Private Credit teams.   

The individual will be responsible for: 

  • Providing support throughout the year and during voting season, including the management of special voting requirements 
  • Administration of the online proxy voting platform 
  • Audit of global proxy voting activities 
  • Respond to proxy voting queries from clients, fund managers and internal staff 
  • Administration of central client account records, including supporting on-boarding of clients 
  • Distribute daily vote allocations, carry out checks on voting volumes and following up on late votes, errors, and special requirements 
  • Produce timely, accurate client voting alerts for meetings with special requirements 
  • Quarterly delivery of client-specific activity statistics 
  • Continually improve processes and related process documentation 
  • Undertaking quarterly service review with vendors and ensuring accurate monthly MI is provided in a timely fashion 
  • Ensure that all relevant Class Action requirements are completed and monitored to ensure all monies are received and allocated correctly. 
  • Reconciliations around POA renewals and Class Actions

Experience:

  • Knowledge of ISS Proxy Voting Platform and Proxy Edge (Class Actions) 
  • Knowledge of Broadridge Proxy Voting Platform. 
  • Knowledge of Proxy Voting & Class Actions 
  • Knowledge of Aladdin 

Knowledge & Skills (Additional) :

Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience within Investment Operations and 3 years in Proxy Voting and/or Corporate Actions. Able to demonstrate knowledge of CASS, including CASS 7 & 8 and the risk associated with failure to adhere. 

Educational Qualification:

  • Degree level in Finance/ Mathematics/ Economics
  • Relevant IOC or Investment Management qualification / Certification would be desirable.
