Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. ## This role in summary Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Analyst, Quality Generalist at the Greenville, Ohio facility. This is an onsite role. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading and driving organizational change through the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Six Sigma tools, aimed at solving complex problems and executing continuous improvements across the plant. The professional in this position will coordinate and execute manufacturing quality support activities, follow up on internal and external audits, evaluate and maintain Control Plans, validate and approve processes and equipment for release to production, and ensure the rigorous application of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) with the firm goal of achieving Zero Defects. ## Your responsibilities will include * Continuous Improvement and Safety: Identify and drive opportunities for improvement in safety and quality through systematic problem solving and the refinement of standardized work together with multidisciplinary teams. * Audits and Compliance: Follow up on internal and external audits in manufacturing areas, explaining process flow and controls to ensure quality system certification. * Control Plans and FMEA: Lead the preparation and maintenance of Control Plans based on Process FMEA (PFMEA) technical documentation, engineering drawings, and validation results. * Operational Support: Maintain direct communication with process owners to equip operators with adequate product and process inspection tools. * Equipment and Process Validation: Collaborate with Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Suppliers in the prior validation and approval of equipment and lines before their release to production. * Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA): Supervise measurement devices, ensure MSA studies are conducted, and evaluate equipment variability. * Fast Response and GEMBA: Lead and actively participate in Fast Response meetings and GEMBA walks, evaluating customer return rates and internal defects. * Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monitoring: Monitor and favorably impact key quality indicators, such as CAL SIR and First Pass Yield (FPY). * Poka-Yoke Systems: Manage the error-proofing device (Poka-Yoke) list and implement monitoring schemes to ensure proper operation. * Statistical Process Control (SPC): Identify critical process and product characteristics required for SPC, ensuring data recording, statistical analysis, and timely countermeasures. * Line Stop Authority: Stop production lines or machinery together with responsible areas when non-conformances compromising product quality are detected. ## Minimum requirements * Bachelor's degree * 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment * 3+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 8D, PDCA, Six Sigma) ## Preferred skills and experiences * 3+ years of specific experience in Quality areas * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering * Advanced mastery of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology or Six Sigma approaches * In-depth knowledge and practical application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) * Demonstrated ability to apply advanced problem-solving tools (Design of Experiments - DOE, Statistical Analysis, Kaizens) * Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, conflict management, and team facilitation skills ## What we offer Generous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
