Summit has multiple global Phase 3 clinical studies, including: Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) <ul> <li> HARMONi: Phase 3 clinical study which was intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to placebo plus chemotherapy in patients with EGFR-mutated, locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous NSCLC who were previously treated with a 3rd generation EGFR TKI. </li> </ul> <ul> <li> HARMONi-3: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC. </li> </ul> <ul> <li> HARMONi-7: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab monotherapy compared to pembrolizumab monotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC. </li> </ul> Colorectal Cancer (CRC) <ul> <li> HARMONi-GI3: Phase 3 clinical study intended to evaluate ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy compared with bevacizumab plus chemotherapy. </li> </ul> Ivonescimab is an investigational therapy not presently approved by any regulatory authority other than China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). Summit is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and has additional offices in California, New Jersey, the UK, and Ireland. </div>Overview of Role:  Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, the Senior Analyst (R&D Accounting & Finance) role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance across the company.   Role and Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Support the Sr. Manager, Finance with the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, with a focus on continuous process improvement and reducing close timelines. </li> <li>Prepare and review high visibility CRO entries, Investigator Grant entries and other R&D entries, including those related to Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials. </li> <li>Own and review the accounting and financial tracking for clinical trial accruals across multiple Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the data is complete, accurate, and audit-compliant. </li> <li>Lead site payments process with 3rd party vendor clinical sites by reviewing and validating invoices against Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), working with the Clinical Operations and Study Start Up (SSU) teams and resolving any issues quickly and timely. </li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as Clinical Operations and, SSU  to support strategic business objectives and ensuring the accuracy of financial information across Phase 2 and Phase 3 studies. </li> <li> Maintain and monitor SOX controls related to operational accounting are completed on time and are working as intended. Proactively identify and escalate any control deficiencies. </li> <li>Assist with audit preparation by gathering needed documents, preparing schedules (PBCs), and responding to audit requests. </li> <li>All other duties as assigned. </li> </ul>   Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or related field preferred  </li> <li>CPA or progress toward designation preferred </li> <li>A minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting  </li> <li>Experience in the life sciences industry, with prior exposure to clinical study accruals strongly preferred </li> <li>Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, SOX controls and month-end close procedures required </li> <li>Must be proficient in handling large-scale financial data using Excel and financial systems for accurate analysis and reporting </li> <li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail </li> <li>Demonstratable experience of working within a fast-paced finance function </li> <li>Demonstratable experience of prioritizing workload and managing multiple tight deadlines effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment </li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships, and the confidence to challenge information constructively </li> <li>Enthusiastic team player with an approachable manner and an ability to engage with colleagues across the business with a constructive and can-do attitude to deliver the successful completion of team outputs within required deadlines. </li> </ul>        <div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">This is the pay for this position</div><div class="title">Pay Transparency</div><div class="pay-range">$117,000—$130,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
