Senior Analyst, Vulnerability Management and Vulnerability Operations (VulnOps)
Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale.
Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams
This role is a technical, hands-on role focused on both identifying and reducing cybersecurity risk through proactive vulnerability management, exposure reduction, and vulnerability operations across on-premise and cloud environments.
How will you make an impact:
Support a robust vulnerability management program, including vulnerability assessments, risk-based prioritization, remediation tracking, exposure management, and security reporting.
Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the organization's vulnerability management and cyber preparedness posture.
Responsible for maintenance of key vulnerability management capabilities, platforms, and services.
Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, exploit trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
Analyze vulnerability findings and exposure data to identify remediation priorities and recommend mitigating controls.
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams to drive remediation and reduce organizational cyber risk.
Resolve issues by performing complex root cause analysis and developing and implementing mitigating solutions.
Participate in information security incident handling efforts and provide vulnerability intelligence as needed.
Participate in Incident Response (IR) activities as required.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on vulnerability management best practices and remediation strategies.
Support cyber preparedness initiatives, including assessment of organizational exposure to newly disclosed vulnerabilities and threat campaigns.

What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
Proven experience as a vulnerability management analyst, cybersecurity analyst, security engineer, or related cybersecurity role in a global enterprise.
Strong understanding of vulnerability management principles, risk prioritization, threat intelligence, operating systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise security controls.
Certifications in related discipline preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CISSP, or other cybersecurity certifications).
5+ years of previous related experience required.

Experience reviewing vulnerability findings and providing recommendations to improve cybersecurity posture.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and customer-focused skills.
Scripting experience preferred.
Experience with AWS/Azure security controls, cloud vulnerability management, and exposure management capabilities a plus.
