Senior/Architect Data Engineer | I
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our growing data practice and help shape the future of our data platform.
In this role, you will design and deliver modern data solutions using Microsoft technologies, support key business initiatives, and contribute to building a scalable, high-impact data ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end data architecture solutions
- Define capacity planning and performance optimization strategies
- Establish and govern data architecture standards and data modeling practices
- Design security and data governance frameworks
- Define and oversee integration architecture across systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect
- Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft data platforms (Azure Data Factory / Microsoft Fabric)
- Strong expertise in:
- Azure Data Factory
- Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
- Azure Synapse and/or SQL
- Solid understanding of:
- data warehousing concepts
- dimensional modeling
- lakehouse architecture
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (OneLake, Workspaces, Capacity)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for data and continuous learning (especially Microsoft Fabric)
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Fabric) are a plus
