<p></p> <p></p> <div><strong>Senior Business Analyst - 6 months contract</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract to play a pivotal role in advancing Pay.UK’s Continuous Improvement strategic pillar, driving lasting enhancements to processes, operational efficiency, and organisational effectiveness.</div> <p>You will enter a setting where detailed analysis, well-organised documentation, and close teamwork are important. If you are experienced in turning complex business needs into well-defined requirements and supporting delivery across multiple stakeholders, this is a chance to do that work in an essential national payments context.</p> <h2>Accountabilities</h2> <ul> <li data-list="bullet">Gather, analyse and document business requirements for change initiatives across payment systems, services or supporting processes.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Translate business needs into clear process maps, user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Review current processes and identify gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to clarify requirements, test assumptions and build shared understanding.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Work closely with delivery, product, technology and operational teams to support solution design and implementation.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Prepare accurate impact assessments, options papers and business analysis artefacts to support decision-making.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Support testing activities by defining business scenarios, validating outcomes and confirming requirements traceability.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Maintain clear documentation and change controls so that decisions, requirements and actions are easy to follow.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications, Skills and Experience</h2> <ul> <li data-list="bullet">Business analysis capabilities on complex change or transformation programmes, including requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery support.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Eliciting, documenting and managing business requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria for change initiatives.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Facilitating requirements workshops and working with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify priorities, resolve issues and build agreement.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Experience assessing business processes, impacts, risks and dependencies, and producing clear analysis to support decision-making.</li> <li data-list="bullet">Experience supporting delivery through business analysis documentation, test scenario definition, outcome validation and requirements traceability.</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <h2><strong>Inclusivity</strong></h2> <p>At Pay.UK, we value diversity and inclusivity.
