As a Senior Business Analyst within the Treasury Crew, you will lead the business analysis activities supporting the delivery of a new Intraday Liquidity Management capability. Working across Treasury, Payments, Risk, Operations and Technology, you'll help shape strategic solutions that strengthen liquidity risk management, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation initiative, partnering with senior stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical and scalable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for the delivery of a new Intraday Liquidity Monitoring capability.
• Elicit, analyse and document business, regulatory and technology requirements across strategic, quarterly and sprint delivery horizons.
• Define current and future-state processes and identify opportunities to simplify operations, improve data quality and increase automation.
• Analyse complex data flows, reporting requirements and system interactions across Treasury and Payments platforms.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, process models, business rules, functional specifications and solution design inputs.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Payments, Operations, Data and Technology teams.
• Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and delivery planning with Product Owners and technology teams.
• Support solution design, testing, defect resolution, and business readiness activities. 
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, driving timely resolution and informed decision-making.
• Ensure strong governance, documentation and traceability across requirements, solutions and delivery outcomes.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, Banking, Treasury or Professional Services environments.
• Experience delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives within large, regulated organisations.
• Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, impact assessment and solution design.
• Experience working with complex data, reporting requirements and system integrations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across business and technology teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Curiosity, critical thinking, and a delivery-focused mindset.

Desirable

• Experience with intraday liquidity management and monitoring capabilities.
• Experience with payment systems, settlement processes, and cash management.
• Knowledge of clearing, settlement and payment lifecycle processes.
• SQL, data analysis, and reporting tool experience (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
