This is an opportunity to help modernise banking services across Fiji and Papua New Guinea while working on initiatives that improve customer experiences, strengthen operations and enable future growth.

Based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country, this permanent hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale transformation initiatives, influence strategic outcomes and partner with senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations and risk. You'll play a key role in helping shape the future of banking across the Pacific while building valuable experience across a broad range of business and technology domains.

What’s the role?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work at the heart of major transformation initiatives, helping to turn complex business challenges into practical solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

You'll partner with business leaders, operational teams, technology specialists and delivery teams to understand opportunities, define requirements and support the successful delivery of change across Pacific Banking.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading business analysis activities across strategic transformation programs and business improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand challenges, define requirements and build alignment.
  • Analysing current and future state processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and customer outcomes.
  • Translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories and solution recommendations.
  • Supporting solution design, prioritisation and delivery activities to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
  • Providing insights, analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Contributing to change adoption, business readiness and implementation activities.
  • Help shape banking services across multiple Pacific markets. 
  • Work on one of the region's largest banking and technology transformation programs. 
  • Influence outcomes that impact customers, colleagues and communities. 
  • Partner directly with senior business and technology stakeholders. 
  • Gain exposure across core banking, digital banking, operational excellence, technology transformation and emerging technologies. 
  • Build pathways into product ownership, transformation delivery, strategy and leadership roles.

You'll have the opportunity to:

What do I need?

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, collaborative and passionate about solving complex problems.

You'll bring:

  • Strong business analysis experience within complex business or technology environments.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate them into actionable outcomes.
  • Experience leading workshops, stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitation activities.
  • Strong process analysis and process improvement capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience supporting delivery, testing, implementation and change activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An interest in data, technology innovation and AI-enabled solutions.
