As a Senior Business System Analyst on this project, you will work on the trading platform that powers FxPro's CFD and Invest products. You will be involved in a wide range of initiatives across both the client-facing platform and the internal administration tools, helping shape user journeys, operational workflows, and platform capabilities. The role covers both customer-facing experiences and administrative functionality, offering exposure to diverse business and technical challenges.
You will work with stakeholders at different levels across the organisation, from business teams such as Product, Marketing, Operations, and Platform Administration to engineering and QA teams. A key part of the role is facilitating communication between teams, analysing existing business flows, identifying dependencies, and driving solution design through to implementation.
This position gives you direct influence over how the trading platform behaves and is operated, and over the tooling the wider business relies on every day.
Responsibilities
- Own business and system analysis activities throughout the full feature lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
- Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical constraints
- Work across both client-facing products and internal administration tools, delivering analysis for a wide range of platform initiatives
- Collect and analyze requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical constraints
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable documentation, including User Stories, Use Cases, UML, BPMN, and Sequence Diagrams.
- Partner closely with the Platform Product Manager, providing analysis bandwidth and acting as backup across platform product work
- Collaborate effectively across Product, Design, Development, and QA teams throughout the task lifecycle
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst
- Comfortable working with backend and platform systems and admin tooling
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
- Quick to onboard into new domains and adapt to changing environments
- Proficiency in creating visual representations of requirements: Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
- Experienced in writing and refining User Stories, Use Cases, and Sequence Diagrams
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, with an emphasis on CFD trading
- Familiarity with various API types and their specifics:
- REST API
- gRPC
- FIX Protocol
- Message queues and brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace)
- Experience working with client-facing trading platforms, internal administration tools, or operational back-office systems
- SQL / data skills
- Experience with CI/CD processes and their role in software development
- Proficiency in Russian language
