Security-cleared Professional: An active Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience with the following:
- Experience in managing VMs and VDIs in cloud environments, specifically within the AWS and Microsoft Azure frameworks.
- Has a strong understanding of LE data and IEPD specifications, along with expertise in data ingest and processing.
- Must be proficient in SPL languages such as PL/SQL and T-SQL, as well as programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, C, and .NET.
- Must be familiar with various databases, including Microsoft Access, Postgres, MySQL, Sybase, Firebird database software, c-tree Advanced Concurrent Engine (ACE), SQL Developer, and other relational databases are required.
- Experience with transforming languages and schemas, such as XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD, and be knowledgeable about data standards and validation tools.
- Has maintaining and troubleshooting data connections, developing and troubleshooting software tools and utilities using Python, PHP, and JavaScript, and configuring and maintaining computer systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft applications, including Visual Basic Applications (VBA) coding, Microsoft Access, Excel, and Visio, is important.
- Must have experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining data integration tracking tools to manage data integration and quality projects, as well as maintaining and upgrading data storage infrastructure and deploying data analysis tools and processes.
What you'll do:
The Data Architect shall develop, build, and maintain utilities and scripts for databases to enhance performance optimization and will be tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting databases, addressing issues related to synchronization, failures, and data access. Additionally, the Data Architect shall automate procedures for both ad hoc and routine reporting and develop, implement, and maintain tracking tools for all projects and data quality initiatives. The Data Architect shall create and manage techniques for data ingest analysis solutions and reports to address data management and analytical challenges. Furthermore, the Data Architect shall develop and maintain data processing and automation projects, leveraging their subject matter expertise in available data and system architecture, while ensuring the maintenance, troubleshooting, purging, and optimization of databases to maintain usability and disk space.
