<p></p> <p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Data Engineer</p> <p><strong>Key Skills:</strong> Azure Databricks, dbt, Python, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD, Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, Lakehouse, Azure</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 5–8+ years of experience.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia.</p> <p><strong>Mode:</strong> Remote.</p> <p>We at Coforge are hiring <strong>Senior Data Engineer (#22301)</strong> with the following skill set.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>· Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and dbt models on Azure Databricks, delivering reliable Silver and Gold data layers for analytics and business consumption.</p> <p>· Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform while implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and automated deployments.</p> <p>· Ensure high data quality by implementing validation frameworks, reconciliation checks, observability, and production support to meet pipeline SLAs.</p> <p>· Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, engineering best practices, and technical guidance while contributing to reusable components and platform documentation.</p> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <p>· 5–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering within enterprise or large-scale data environments.</p> <p>· Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, dbt, Python, and SQL.</p> <p>· Proven experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines with monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution.</p> <p>· Strong understanding of data modeling, distributed data systems, and Lakehouse architectures.</p> <p>· Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).</p> <p>· Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.</p> <p>· Knowledge of data quality, testing, and observability frameworks such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or equivalent.</p> <p>· Experience processing large-scale, terabyte-level datasets on enterprise data platforms.</p> <p>· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</p> <p>· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).</p> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <p>· Experience with Azure AI Search, Lakebase, or Databricks serving capabilities.</p> <p>· Knowledge of real-time and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Delta Live Tables.</p> <p>· Experience in insurance or financial services environments.</p> <p>· Experience optimizing cloud performance and costs.</p> <p>· Familiarity with Snowflake-to-Databricks migrations, Lakebridge, or cloud migration initiatives.</p> <p>Posted On: 17-07-2026</p> <p>At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.</p>
