Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic Senior Data Engineer who is dedicated, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to develop high-quality, scalable data solutions. What You'll Do Develop and maintain world-class data pipelines and systems in Snowflake, ensuring flawless performance and scalability. Implement and optimize Snowpark applications using Python, bringing to bear Snowflake features such as snowpipe, streams, tasks, and stored procedures. Apply AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, and others to integrate various data sources into Snowflake, ensuring high standards of data quality and security. Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures, optimizing query performance and adhering to guidelines in data management. Build and implement dimensional data models, contributing to the development of robust BI/DW solutions. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, troubleshooting and optimizing data loading and processing issues with proven analytical skills. Stay actively involved in training, self-development, and knowledge sharing, contributing to organization-level cloud initiatives. Engage in requirement analysis, testing, debugging, documentation, and quality reviews, ensuring adherence to established project execution processes and coding standards. Take initiative in problem-solving, applying root cause analysis and collaborating effectively within a team or working independently. Qualifications Who You Are Must Have skills: Extensive experience with Snowflake native features like streams, tasks, stored procedures, snowpipe, and data sharing. Skilled in AWS offerings such as S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, EC2, IAM, and KMS, along with strong knowledge of Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, ensuring continuous integration and deployment success. Ability to deliver individual work timely while assisting team members, demonstrating outstanding collaboration and support. Good to have skills: Familiarity with technologies such as Database, Data Visualization (Power BI), Scripting, and ETL (Informatica PowerCenter).
