  • Automate Data Discovery: Advanced PowerShell skills for enterprise-scale discovery, metadata and permission capture, Active Directory integration, scheduling, logging, auditing and recovery.

  • Data architecture and SQL: Strong SQL Server capability, including metadata repository design, conceptual-to-physical data modelling, inventory and reporting schemas, stored procedures, views, optimisation, reconciliation and error handling.

  • ETL engineering: Proven SSIS/ETL experience ingesting database and file-based sources, with robust transformation, cleansing, validation, incremental loading, historical tracking, exception management and monitoring.

  • Cloud migration delivery: End-to-end migration of structured and unstructured data from legacy platforms to GCP, including Cloud Storage, while preserving metadata and permissions and completing reconciliation and post-migration verification.

  • Migration strategy and cutover: Ability to design migration approaches, plan waves, manage dependencies and risks, and produce executable runbooks, cutover plans and rollback procedures.

  • Reporting and governance: Power BI, DAX and semantic modelling skills to deliver migration-readiness, utilisation, operational, executive, governance and compliance reporting.

  • Senior engineering leadership: Ability to establish engineering standards, troubleshoot complex migration issues, communicate technical risks clearly and coordinate delivery across business, infrastructure, security and application teams.
