We are looking for a Senior Data Protection Coordinator for Metlen Energy & Metals SA who will be reporting to the Data Protection Officer of METLEN Energy & Metals. Your role will encompass: <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Provide clarifications and answers to questions from Metlen employees for HR and other major sectors</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Ensure that the data collected is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed </li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Maintain and update the data processing register of HR and other major sectors</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Initiates the process of designing new processes (by design and by default)</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Regularly monitor the processing of personal data to identify possible changes in order to assess whether such processing is compatible with the pre-existing legal basis or there is a need to establish a new legal basis for the new purpose of such processing</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Prepare sector specific training material and provide training to HR and other major sectors employees and data processors</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Incorporate the necessary clauses in contracts with customers and suppliers based on the relevant templates, while at the same time prepare the relevant updates/information notices for the processing of personal data to the subjects</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Manage consents obtained or withdrawn from data subjects for some processing and retain the relevant evidence</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Carry out a data protection impact assessment, where necessary, and send the results of that assessment to the Data Protection Office for further assessment and guidance</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Assist the Data Protection Officer in identifying processing operations that may pose a high risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects</li> </ul> What you bring to the role: <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">5+ years’ experience in a similar Data Protection related activities</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Data protection advanced knowledge is essential.
