Together, we can help patients get the right drugs at the right times. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Data Scientist at Symphony, you will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. You will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives by developing sophisticated models, performing in-depth analyses, and guiding strategic decision-making across the organization.   How you will drive success <ul> <li>Designing and implementing advanced data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and drive strategic insights.</li> <li>Conducting in-depth analyses of large and diverse data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations that inform decision-making.</li> <li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings effectively.</li> <li>Developing and deploying machine learning models and statistical techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and optimize business processes.</li> <li>Providing thought leadership on data science best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.</li> </ul>   Required skills and experience <ul> <li>Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or mathematics.</li> <li>Extensive experience in data science, with a strong track record of developing and implementing complex models and analyses.</li> <li>Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools, with expertise in programming languages such as Python or R.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.</li> </ul>   Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $130,000 - 160,000 + annual bonus opportunity.<div class="content-conclusion"><div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <h3>Hiring Locations</h3> Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area. For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at least once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning. Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states.
