Together, we can help patients get the right drugs at the right times.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Data Scientist at Symphony, you will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. You will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives by developing sophisticated models, performing in-depth analyses, and guiding strategic decision-making across the organization.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>How you will drive success</strong></p> <ul> <li>Designing and implementing advanced data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and drive strategic insights.</li> <li>Conducting in-depth analyses of large and diverse data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations that inform decision-making.</li> <li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings effectively.</li> <li>Developing and deploying machine learning models and statistical techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and optimize business processes.</li> <li>Providing thought leadership on data science best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or mathematics.</li> <li>Extensive experience in data science, with a strong track record of developing and implementing complex models and analyses.</li> <li>Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools, with expertise in programming languages such as Python or R.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $130,000 - 160,000 + annual bonus opportunity.</p><div class="content-conclusion"><div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div> <h3><strong>Hiring Locations</strong></h3> <p>Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.</p> <p>For certain roles, we also hire from <strong>hub locations</strong>—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at least once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.</p> <p>Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states.
