Senior Data Scientist
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help build and lead consumer measurement science for Credit Karma, with a focus on business forecasting, funnel and metric foundations, and consumer insights and segmentation. This role sits at the intersection of analytics and machine learning, and operates as a key driver of business performance.
You will build and own CK's business forecasting, its consumer funnel and metric foundation, and its consumer insights and segmentation engine — turning day-to-day member behavior into decisions that revenue and product teams can act on. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who wants to stand up a measurement and forecasting discipline from the ground up and see it directly shape strategy.
Responsibilities
Own CK's business forecasting and projections across revenue, funnel, and engagement — enabling resource and investment decisions to be made weeks earlier than today's backward-looking reporting allows.
Own the consumer funnel and metric foundation for CK: causal metric identification, definition, and governance; holistic business-management reporting; and funnel diagnostics that connect day-to-day customer behavior and operating signals to tangible business outcomes.
Build CK's consumer insights and segmentation engine — turning behavioral and engagement data into actionable segments and predictive cohort views that revenue and product teams can activate against, with measurable lift in activation, monetization, multi-product adoption, and retention.
Partner with revenue, product, and finance teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations and drive adoption of these capabilities in day-to-day decision-making.
Establish the standards and governance for how CK defines, measures, and reports on customer and business health, ensuring a single, trusted source of truth.
