About our team In Data, Digital Sales and Engagement (DDSE) we are a group of specialists in various fields: everything from digital marketing and content production to web analysis and data science. Collectively, we are responsible for engaging new and existing personal customers in digital channels and driving sales via online/mobile banking and nordea.se. We are building the omnichannel customer journey experience and for that we need to connect different data sources across our platforms and applications. Right product, right process, right message, right channel, at the right time for the right customer. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. About this opportunity We are looking for a curious and driven Senior Data Scientist who will play a key role in implementing our omnichannel customer journey strategy. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders in Personal Banking. In this role, you will enable Digital Sales to leverage data and analytics to enhance the customer experience. You will deliver insights and recommendations, drive automation through model-based solutions, simplify processes, and identify new data sources. Together with the team, you will develop advanced AI models to predict customer needs and behaviours in digital channels. In addition you will be: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Analysing how our omnichannel business is developing including e.g. sales, activity performance, customer behaviour, pricing, process steps and demand</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Designing and developing customer engagement activities: suggest target group, evaluate data availability, support utilizing sufficient control groups, monitor the outcome of activities, and evaluate the results</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Participating actively in the work of digital customer journey teams, training and coaching the team to utilize data & analytics</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Enabling data for analytics, reporting and marketing automation tool(s)</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Recommending and performing analysis of different data sources to spot development trends and pain points</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Together with a wider data analyst community and take part into building analytics & tools needed for business development</li> </ul> Who you are Collaboration. You're dependable, willing to speak up even when it's difficult, and committed to empowering others</li> <li style="text-align:justify">A proactive, innovative and can-do oriented mind-set with the ability to convert new ideas into concrete actions, share “make it happen attitude”</li> <li style="text-align:justify">A passion to share your knowledge and a ability to clearly communicate complex issues in an easy and understandable manner to a wide range of stakeholder</li> </ul> Your experience and background: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">At least 3-5 years of experience in data analytics/data science</li> <li style="text-align:justify">You are comfortable in using one or more data science programming language e.g. Python, R, SQL</li> <li style="text-align:justify">You know your ways around tools like Hive, Snowflake, visualization tool such as Power BI</li> <li style="text-align:justify">You understand the principles of working with an Agile development approach</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Academic degree in highly quantitative discipline or specialisation such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or Finance, and you have understanding of statistical concepts (e.g. Hypothesis Testing) and machine learning models</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English</li> </ul> What we offer By joining Nordea you can impact on the life of 11 million customers.
