And that’s just the beginning.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Micro Focus Enterprise Server Administrator who manages, configures, and optimizes mainframe application rehosting environments (COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQ and JES) on Windows/Linux/Cloud platforms, requiring 10+ years of total experience with more than 5 years of relevant experience . &nbsp;The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Micro Focus administration activities such as Region management/configuration, Security/User Management, Monitoring, Troubleshooting and maintenance &amp; Upgrades.</p> <p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p> <p>Administration &amp; Configuration: Manage Microfocus Enterprise Server regions, including Installation,configuration changes, user management, and security settings.<br>Performance &amp; Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance (e.g., Perfmon, SCOM) and use diagnostic tools to resolve issues, including database connectivity and file corruption.<br>Security &amp; Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and manage access.<br>Installation &amp; Upgrades: Install, configure, and upgrade Micro Focus Enterprise Server and Developer products in QA and Production environments.<br>&nbsp;</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br>Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Micro Focus Enterprise Server, COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2 and JES.<br>Develop automation scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Korn Shell) and workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual maintenance tasks.<br>Troubleshooting &amp; Support: Act as a high-level escalation point for complex technical issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and collaborating with Micro Focus Support line when necessary.<br>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
