We show up authentically, assume best intent, and try not to take ourselves too seriously.  </li> </ul> Position Overview The Senior Director, Data and Analytics will define and lead the enterprise data strategy for a rapidly scaling, private equity–backed services platform. This role owns the architecture, governance, and roadmap for a modern data environment that enables reliable financial reporting, operational visibility, and scalable M&A integration across all operating companies. This is a strategic leadership role focused on systems design, prioritization, and organizational capability-building. This individual will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to ensure data is a durable competitive advantage for the platform.   Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Enterprise Data Strategy & Architecture: Define and own the long-term data architecture and tooling strategy across ingestion, warehouse, transformation, BI, and governance layers to ensure scalability and reliability.</li> <li>Metric Governance & Standardization: Establish and enforce canonical KPI definitions and governance processes to ensure consistency, auditability, and enterprise-wide trust in reporting.</li> <li>Platform Scaling & M&A Integration: Design and implement a repeatable data integration framework that accelerates onboarding of new acquisitions and improves speed-to-insight across the platform.</li> <li>Vendor & Platform Management: Oversee external data engineering partners, technology vendors, platform spend, and SLAs to ensure performance and cost efficiency.</li> <li>Executive Partnership: Serve as the primary data partner to executive leadership, translating operational and financial requirements into technical decisions. </li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in data, analytics, or data platform leadership</li> <li>Proven experience designing and scaling modern cloud data architectures (e.g., Snowflake or similar)</li> <li>Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and reporting infrastructure</li> <li>Experience with multi-tenant, heterogeneous data environments</li> <li>Experience in PE-backed, multi-entity, or high-growth environments preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated experience leading analytics engineering or BI teams</li> <li>Strong commercial acumen with fluency in financial and operational metrics</li> <li>Experience managing external vendors and technology budgets </li> </ul> Core Competencies <ul> <li>Enterprise Data Architecture Expertise: Deep understanding of modern data lake and analytics architectures</li> <li>Autonomy & Ownership: Thrives as a single-threaded owner responsible for critical systems and outcomes</li> <li>Comfort with Ambiguity: Able to bring structure to unclear problems and evolving requirements</li> <li>Commercial Judgment: Understands how architecture and data decisions impact the business today and in the future</li> <li>Executive Communication: Translates complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for leaders</li> <li>Quality & Rigor: Maintains high standards for scalability, reliability, and performance </li> </ul> Compensation and Timing Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
