Senior Expert MDM and Reporting / Analytics (f/m/div.)
Job Description
Keenfinity Group’s Audio business combines decades of engineering expertise with a portfolio of globally trusted brands including Electro-Voice, Dynacord and Telex that power communication, collaboration and live experiences around the world.
Our solutions cover professional loudspeaker systems, installed and portable sound, conferencing systems, broadcast and production intercom, as well as certified public address and voice alarm systems for life-safety applications.
From event stages, hospitality and conference venues to government institutions, transportation hubs, or industrial facilities, our professional sound and critical communication solutions help people be heard clearly, collaborate effectively, and communicate reliably when it matters most.
Next to our passion for technology we’re very passionate about our work environment. Based on values such as trust, appreciation, and accountability, we all work together to shape the future – boldly, customer-focused and with a strong team spirit!
As a Senior Expert MDM and Reporting / Analytics, you lead the transformation of our reporting and analytics landscape from a centralised environment into a modern, lean, business unit-driven setup.
This is a transformation role with end-to-end ownership for the consumption layer of our data landscape — reporting, semantic modelling, and self-service analytics across systems such as Salesforce, ERP, PIM, and the wider operational landscape. You will establish clear KPI definitions, a scalable reporting architecture, and a reliable foundation for advanced analytics and AI use cases.
The position offers high visibility, close collaboration with central IT and business stakeholders, and strategic responsibility with real ownership of the target data architecture.
Reporting & Analytics Strategy
Define and execute the reporting and analytics transformation roadmap (towards lean target setup)
Establish a scalable target architecture from data source through modelling and semantic layer to reporting frontend
Consolidate the existing reporting landscape (Excel tools, isolated solutions, function-specific reports) into a deliberate target setup
Semantic Layer & Data Products
Define and maintain the semantic layer (KPIs, dimensions, hierarchies, business rules) as a shared language between IT and business
Build reusable data products across Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance reporting
Feed analytics requirements back into MDM domains so master data structures fit reporting needs
System & Platform Integration
Collaborate closely with the E2E IT Architect to define the role of reporting and analytics within the target architecture
Integrate into data pipelines from MDM, Salesforce, ERP, and operational systems
Evaluate and implement BI tooling (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and modelling tools (e.g. dbt)
Data Quality & Reporting Lifecycle
Define and track consumption-side data quality KPIs (reporting reliability, refresh stability, cross-report consistency)
Implement workflows for report design, validation, publishing, and decommissioning
Eliminate redundant and contradictory reports as part of the wider application rationalisation
Business Enablement & AI Readiness
Provide reliable analytics products as the foundation for commercial steering, operational decisions, and AI use cases
Support business teams with clear KPI definitions and self-service patterns
Provision data foundations for advanced analytics use cases (forecasting, pricing, service analytics)
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Steer external reporting, analytics, and BI partners
Align with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations, and Finance
Coordinate closely with central IT and transformation initiatives
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Business Informatics, Data Management, Computer Science, or related field
Experience and Know-how: 7–10+ years in reporting, BI, and analytics, including senior responsibility for a reporting landscape and a proven track record on large-scale transformation programmes; strong command of BI platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), modelling tools (e.g. dbt), and SQL-based stacks; hands-on experience with semantic layers and unified KPI definitions across CRM (esp. Salesforce), ERP, and PIM landscapes
Nice to have: Experience in API-based and integrated architectures; exposure to advanced analytics or AI use cases (forecasting, pricing, service analytics); experience steering external BI/analytics partners; PE-backed or carve-out environment exposure; familiarity with MDM tooling (e.g. Informatica, Stibo, Reltio); multi-brand or multi-ERP landscape experience
Personality and Working Style: Strong transformation and change management mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and a pragmatic 80/20 approach in a fast-moving environment; structured, data-driven, and able to translate business requirements into a clean data architecture rather than ad-hoc reports; strong stakeholder management across business and IT
Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) required; working German preferred.
