As a Sr Finance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving growth for our IMC (Industrial Measurement & Controls) business unit within the Industrial Automation (IA) Strategic Business Group (SBG). You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making . Your work will directly contribute to the financial success of the SBG and help drive growth and profitability for the IMC division. You will report directly to our Europe CFO and you’ll work out of our Mainz (Germany) location. In this role, you will impact the financial performance of IMC by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, evaluate business performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in driving cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Regional Finance Leader (RFL) in month end close and any adhoc support needs
  • Drive regional growth in revenue, margins and OI. 
  • Drive working capital reduction and improve cash flow.
  • Participate and drive process improvement projects
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Provide insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and profitability
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs
  • Conduct variance analysis on actuals versus plan, effectively managing KPIs and delivering actionable insights
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • SwissCo true-ups and support Tax optimization projects

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • German is plus 
  • 6+ years of experience in Factory Finance or Commercial Finance. 
  • Mandatory experience in Strong Accounting, US GAAP analytical skills.

Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required

  • Proficient with ERP – SAP BRP 900, FDS, HP and other Finance tools
  • Result driven and assume accountability
  • ISC & Inter company experience is added advantage
  • Ability to handle pressure and tight timelines 
  • Flexible to role requirements
