Overview As a Senior Financial Analyst on Gallagherâs Global Data & Analytics team, youâll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions. This role focuses on financial and operational analysis, reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve performance visibilityâparticularly across reinsurance-related metrics and broader business trends. How you'll make an impact What Youâll Do Analyze financial and operational data from the global data warehouse to evaluate business performance, profitability, and risk/volatility Build, refine, and validate key metrics, with a focus on reinsurance and performance insights Develop and enhance reports and dashboards; identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities Conduct variance and root-cause analysis to explain performance and provide forward-looking insights Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership Perform market research and benchmarking using industry trends, economic data, and competitor insights Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities and proactively identify analytical opportunities Collaborate with IT (onshore and offshore) to automate reporting and improve data solutions Deliver accurate, timely analyses and respond to ad hoc requests as needed Act as a trusted thought partner to leadership on financial and performance insights About You What You Bring Required: Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field 3+ years of financial analysis experience (insurance, brokerage, or financial services preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI (Sigma experience a plus) Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences Preferred: Experience with Tableau or Qlik Experience with SQL, PowerPivot, or other big data tools Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
