<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst</strong> who thrives in fast-moving environments, spots opportunities beyond the immediate ask, and loves turning ambiguity into execution. <h2>You will contribute by</h2>
<p>This isn’t a role where you just maintain the status quo. You will actively evolve our financial infrastructure, optimize planning processes, and partner directly with leadership to guide Hover’s next stage of hyper-growth.</p>
<p>Your mission spans three core pillars:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Infrastructure & Planning:</strong> Own and evolve our core FP&A system (Drivetrain). You’ll build and scale high-impact dashboards, reporting workflows, and planning templates that drive everything from monthly reviews and quarterly board-level reporting to company-wide long-range planning..</li>
<li><strong>Corporate forecasting and reporting:</strong> Take the wheel on corporate and shared expenses—including software, facilities, merit, benefits and other centralized operating expenses. You will build the models that allocate these resources efficiently and create scalable frameworks to manage spend as we grow. You will also report on the business overall to our board of directors and investors.</li>
<li><strong>Strategic G&A Partnership:</strong> Act as the trusted financial co-pilot to leaders across Finance, Accounting, Legal, People, Recruiting, and IT. You’ll help them navigate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close analysis, translating complex data into clear, actionable decisions.</li>

<li><strong>Experience:</strong> 2–5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, business operations, consulting, accounting, or a highly analytical equivalent.</li>
<li><strong>Technical Chops:</strong> Elite forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills. You know how to drive reporting scalability and automation.</li>
<li><strong>Execution & Detail:</strong> A strict QA discipline, high attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li><strong>Communication Style:</strong> An exceptional ability to translate complex financial concepts into crystal-clear problem statements and solutions for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.</li>
<li><strong>Mindset:</strong> A strong ownership mentality, an appetite for continuous self-improvement, and a desire to challenge the status quo.</li>

<h2>Hybrid roles at Hover</h2>
<p>Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.</p>
<p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $153,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.</p>
