What you will do 

The Financial Analyst prepares monthly financial reports and related analyses. Provides input in financial planning process, creating and maintaining financial models. Supports Plant Controller and Site Business Partners with comprehensive analysis providing accurate and timely financial information to influence business decisions. Focus on continuous improvement providing recommendations to automate or improve current financial processes. Assists with department expense and capital budgeting, tracking, reporting, month end, and quarter close expenses and costs. Ensure monthly closing is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations as needed. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports monthly financial closing process to reflect accurate financial position in accordance with local and corporate regulatory requirements

  • Analyze financial data to guide business partners

  • Develop annual budgets and forecast updates partnering with business partners cultivating both internal and external partnerships

  • Supports capital expenditure process at the plant level budgeting to post-implementation review 

  • Reporting of actual results for current expenditure relating to the budget, and the explanations for variations monitoring key financial metrics and operating performance indicators

  • Actively participates in meetings, and keeps management informed on the current financial position and risks

  • Ensure full compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate policies, and other relevant regulatory requirements

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or related business experience is required

  • The candidate must possess strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus

  • Work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams

  • Fluency in English

Desired Qualifications:

  • Business experience in at least one of the following areas: Finance Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing Plant Accounting 

  • Prior experience working in manufacturing environment
