<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Great Hill</strong> is seeking a <strong>Senior Financial Audit Analyst</strong> to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Combat Support Agency as part of a strategic audit remediation and sustainment initiative. This position plays a critical role in advancing the agency’s progress toward full financial auditability in alignment with DoD’s Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) goals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of federal audit standards, internal controls, and financial compliance within the DoD environment. A successful candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting focused on complex audit challenges and enterprise transformation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><u><strong>Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to</strong></u>:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support the execution of financial statement audit readiness and remediation tasks.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Analyze audit findings and assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform internal control testing and support documentation of financial transactions and processes.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and leadership to ensure audit requirements are clearly understood and addressed.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Assist in preparing audit documentation and supporting evidence packages for audit assertions and walkthroughs.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain audit readiness documentation repositories, ensuring traceability and completeness of evidence.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Liaise with external audit firms and internal stakeholders to coordinate responses to audit requests.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (or at least 5 years of equivalent federal financial management or auditing experience in lieu of a degree).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Minimum of 5 years of federal audit, audit readiness, or financial compliance experience.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate audit issues clearly.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Active DoD Secret security clearance.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>Desired Skills:</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>CPA, PMP, CFE or DoD Financial Management Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)</li>
<li>Experience with FIAR methodology, including internal controls, testing, and remediation.</li>
<li>Familiarity with key audit focus areas such as Order-to-Cash (O2C0, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Real Property, and Fund Balance with Treasury (FBwT).</li>
<li>Experience with collections, unmatched transactions, and intergovernmental reconciliations.</li>
<li>Exposure to data analytics to support audit resolution and financial trend analysis.</li>
<li>Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or similar tools to extract and analyze financial data.</li>
