Derivco Group is hiring a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll lead financial reporting and insight generation across multiple business units, build advanced financial models, and partner with senior leaders to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that shape commercial and operational decisions across the Group.


What You'll Do

  • Lead strategic financial reporting and insight generation across multiple business units
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Conduct variance, trend, and scenario analyses to strengthen planning accuracy and flag risks early
  • Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for executive and senior leadership audiences
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and support data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with FP&A colleagues to align forecasting, modelling, and reporting standards
  • Identify and resolve data gaps or inconsistencies to safeguard reporting integrity
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A tools, templates, and reporting automation


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (postgraduate qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CFA advantageous)
  • 6โ€“8 years' progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or business finance partnering
  • Experience producing consolidated management accounts and performance commentary for senior leadership across multiple business units
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting experience, including Group-wide planning cycle coordination and scenario planning
  • Advanced proficiency with financial reporting tools and data visualisation platforms, with experience building automated reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical, influencing, and report writing skills, with solid business acumen and commercial awareness
