Senior HRIS Analyst, Hybrid, Southbank Plaza

The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as the senior technical and functional expert responsible for the ongoing support, optimization, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's cloud-based Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This role partners closely with Human Resources, Information Technology, business leaders, vendors, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure HR technology solutions align with organizational goals, improve operational efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and support continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional and technical expert for Workday HCM, including configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and support.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Workday Core HCM and functional areas including Recruiting, Talent, Compensation (Basic and Advanced), Benefits, and Retirement.

  • Apply working knowledge of UKG Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, and Payroll processes to support integrated HR systems.

  • Provide advanced end-user support and serve as the primary escalation point for complex or critical HRIS issues.

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Workday integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Mass Operation Management (MOM), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to analyze business requirements, design and configure system solutions, conduct testing, and ensure alignment with governance, security, compliance, and data integrity standards.

  • Evaluate and implement new Workday functionality and system enhancements to support organizational priorities and technology strategy.

  • Provide strategic consultation to HR leadership and business partners on HRIS capabilities, best practices, and process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain user documentation, job aids, and training materials to support self-service and system adoption.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to HRIS team members while promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

  • Lead day-to-day HRIS operations and support enterprise initiatives including Open Enrollment, Compensation Planning, Performance Management, and other strategic HR projects.

  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and cross-functional business partners to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable technology solutions.

  • Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HRIS experience with significant hands-on Workday configuration and support experience required.

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

  • Expert-level functional knowledge of Workday HCM.

  • Working knowledge of UKG Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, and Payroll integrations.

  • Experience developing and supporting Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, and Mass Operation Management (MOM).

  • Experience building Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.

  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, governance, security, and data management principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Strong project management skills with experience working in Agile or similar project delivery methodologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel.

This position follows a hybrid work model with regular on-site presence required. The Senior HRIS Analyst participates in after-hours support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to support system implementations, upgrades, testing, issue resolution, and other critical HRIS activities. Availability for occasional 24/7 support is expected during major system events and business-critical operations.
