Job Overview:
The Senior Insurance Product Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing the firm’s insurance platform by driving data-driven insights, enhancing partner performance, and improving operational efficiency across Broker General Agencies (BGAs) and carrier relationships. This individual serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, BGAs, carriers, and technology partners—ensuring a seamless, scalable, and high-performing insurance ecosystem that supports advisor adoption and client outcomes. The role blends analytics, operations, and technology enablement, with a strong focus on improving advisor experience, increasing placement rates, and expanding platform capabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner Performance & Governance
Manage and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations across BGAs and insurance carriers
Evaluate partner performance using KPIs such as turnaround times, placement ratios, case cycle time, and service quality
Develop and maintain partner scorecards and provide regular performance reporting to leadership
Identify trends and recommend actions to enhance service delivery and advisor satisfaction
Act as an escalation point to resolve service issues and ensure timely issue resolution
2. Data Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze pipeline metrics, conversion rates, placement, and revenue performance across the insurance business
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency into business performance
Deliver actionable insights to support distribution strategy, advisor engagement, and product utilization
Support leadership with forecasting and trend analysis
3. Technology & Platform Enablement
Serve as a liaison with BGA and carrier technology teams to support integrations and system enhancements
Enable and promote adoption of digital application tools, e-submission, and straight-through processing capabilities
Support data integration initiatives between internal systems and external partners
Participate in testing, rollout, and optimization of insurance technology solutions
Identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end digital experience for advisors
4. Operations & Process Optimization
Coordinate and resolve commission-related issues, including supporting expanded utilization of DTCC and automated reconciliation processes
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability
Partner with internal operations and supervision teams to improve workflow coordination and case throughput
Monitor key operational metrics and drive initiatives to improve placement rates and cycle times
5. Marketing, Events & Content Oversight
Coordinate event and meeting planning with BGAs and carriers, including advisor events and joint initiatives
Partner with internal compliance and marketing teams to review and approve BGA and carrier sales materials
Ensure all materials meet firm standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines
Support execution of joint marketing campaigns and advisor engagement efforts
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with stakeholders across insurance, distribution, compliance, technology, and operations teams
Provide insights and support to enhance advisor enablement and sales effectiveness
Ensure alignment between platform capabilities and advisor needs
Support internal stakeholders with analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations
7. Strategic Initiatives & Platform Expansion
Assist in initiatives to enhance and expand the firm’s insurance offerings and platform capabilities
Evaluate new tools, partners, and solutions to improve performance and scalability
Contribute to building a modern, data-driven insurance operating model
Support special projects aligned with growth, innovation, and advisor experience improvement

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
5–8 years of experience in insurance, wealth management, broker-dealer operations, or financial services
5-8 years of experience working with data analytics, reporting tools, and CRM systems
Core Competencies:
Strong understanding of life insurance, annuities, and distribution through
Familiarity with insurance operations, underwriting lifecycle, and commission processes (DTCC experience a plus)
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, solve complex problems, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
Strong project management, organizational, and execution skills with a focus on process improvement and attention to detail
Technically proficient with data tools, reporting platforms, and digital workflows
Preferences:
Experience working with Broker General Agencies (BGAs), insurance carriers, or insurance distribution platforms within the financial services industry.
Advanced proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Experience supporting technology implementations, system integrations, or digital workflow enhancements that improve operational efficiency and advisor experience.
Pay Range:
