In this role, you will lead the evolution of our corporate database management, analytics infrastructure, and business intelligence platforms.</p> <p>To thrive at Air, you must be a data leader who is fiercely <strong>scrappy</strong> and possesses an absolute <strong>intolerance of mediocrity</strong>. You challenge assumptions, ask the hard questions, and bring data to life to keep our growing organization moving fast and executing with precision.</p> <p>This role is based in our Arlington, VA Headquarters and could require travel up to 10% of the time.&nbsp;</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s2"><strong>Scope of Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Data Ecosystem Ownership:</strong> Act as the ultimate owner of Air’s internal operational data, managing core database architecture, scaling data warehouses, and ensuring maximum reporting speed, performance, and data integrity.</li> <li><strong>BI Platform Modernization:</strong> Lead the architecture, deployment, and ongoing administration of enterprise business intelligence platforms to enable seamless, self-service data exploration.</li> <li><strong>Executive Insights &amp; Analytics:</strong> Formulate, model, and track critical business metrics and KPIs, transforming manual data collection tasks into automated, repeatable, and scalable analytics solutions.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Advisory:</strong> Deliver concise, compelling data-driven findings and strategic recommendations directly to executives to guide high-stakes business and operational decisions.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to capture internal business requirements and configure analytics platforms tailored to their strategic workflows.</li> <li><strong>Process Innovation:</strong> Doggedly seek out operational efficiencies, optimizing internal reporting workflows and refining analytical processes to eliminate friction.</li> </ul> <p class="p1" style="line-height: 1;"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>U.S. Citizenship is mandatory</strong>.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.</li> </ul> <p class="p2" style="line-height: 1;"><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of hands-on experience working with data-driven analytics and enterprise business intelligence platforms (e.g., Sigma, PowerBI, Looker, or Looker Studio).</li> <li>Advanced expertise deriving key business insights and KPIs from large, complex, and loosely defined internal datasets.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in building, optimization, and automation using flavors of <strong>SQL</strong> and common database management tools.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to explain highly technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with little supervision in a challenging, fast-paced tech environment.</li> </ul> <p class="p2"><strong>Desired:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship.</li> <li>Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other fast-growing, entrepreneurial tech environment.</li> <li>Familiarity with regular script development in <strong>Python</strong> or <strong>R</strong> for data transformation and automation workflows.</li> <li>Experience analyzing corporate performance, financial data, internal tech metrics, or operational process analytics within a software organization.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-powered platforms (e.g., Claude Cowork, Gemini, NotebookLM) to drive operational efficiency; experience with agentic workflows and prompt engineering for data synthesis is a strong plus.</li> </ul> <p class="p2">&nbsp;</p> <p><em>We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance.&nbsp; If you thrive while building solutions to complex problems, are a self-starter, and are passionate about making an impact in global security, we’re eager to hear from you.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Air is an Equal Opportunity Employer.&nbsp; All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability and protected veterans status or any other characteristic protected by law.</strong></p> </div> <div class="section page-centered" data-qa="closing-description"> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> </div>
